Megola Unveils New Portable Air Treatment Products at the North American Rink Conference & Expo

CORUNNA, Ontario, May 17, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Megola Inc. (OTCBB:MGOA), a leading environmental solution provider in physical water treatment, microbiological control, wastewater treatment and air purification, announced that it will be unveiling new portable air treatment products at the North American Rink Conference & Expo (NARCE), May 17 & 18 in Chicago, IL.

"Megola has been attending the NARCE show (www.narce.com) for the past few years but has mainly focused on marketing its ScaleGuard physical water treatment products. The ScaleGuard product line has been widely used in the arena industry throughout North America -- from treating entire buildings to selectively treating cooling tower refrigeration loops. Megola continues to diversify and expand upon its already successful product lines and is excited at the opportunity to introduce new products to our existing and new customers at NARCE," says Joel Gardner, Chief Executive Officer of Megola Inc.

Megola will be adding the portable air treatment units, which consist of UVV and UVC lamps, to their existing indoor air disinfection product line. These portable units consist of the Equipment Master, Room Blaster and Air Care, which all help eliminate bacteria, viruses, smoke, mold, mildew, odors, dust mites, and other airborne contaminants.

"These portable units can be used almost anywhere and are very effective in treating poor air quality and odors that exist in dressing rooms, sports gear and bathrooms, among other places. These units will be made available through our growing distribution network," states Dennis Davies, Distribution Manager.

Since going public in 2003, Megola (www.megola.com) has been attracting increasing amounts of interest from a variety of industries. The company is in the process of greatly expanding both the scope of its offerings and its reach throughout the global marketplace. Megola believes it can significantly boost its revenues through the continuance of this new business model.
