WHAT: Straumann, the world's second largest producer of
dental implants and leader in dental tissue
regeneration products, will inaugurate its new combined
North American headquarters, training and production
center in Andover, Mass. The 163,000 SF site houses
Straumann's North American management team and a
world-class training center with two dental operation
suites. It also incorporates a state-of-the-art
production and development unit to manufacture high
precision implants for tooth replacement. The Andover
facility will supply the North American dental implant
market and complements Straumann's current production
unit in Villeret, Switzerland. Straumann's new site
will bring further new jobs to Massachusetts.
