Golar announces that it has filed its Form 20-F for the year ended December 31, 2004.
Included in this press release is financial information derived from the audited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2004 which are included in that Annual Report, and unaudited financial information for the first quarter of 2005. The financial information reflects adjustments from the Company's previously announced preliminary results for the relevant periods which relate to the treatment of the Company's equity in the net earnings of Korea Line Corporation, a company in which Golar has a 21% shareholding. The adjustments result from the conversion of Korea Line's earnings from Korean GAAP to US GAAP and reduce previously reported net income by $2.8 million and $0.4 million, or on an earnings per share basis by $0.04 and $0.01, for the year ended December 31, 2004 and the first quarter of 2005, respectively.
