My Medical CD Set to Introduce Its Cutting Edge Mini CD Technology for Personal Medical Information to the Travel Industry

NEW YORK, Aug. 16, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- My Medical CD, Ltd. (Pink Sheets:MYMC), developer of an interactive encoded mini CD containing a person's emergency medical information and medical history, today announced it is set to introduce its product to the travel industry which includes over 100,000 sales agents and more than 23,000 travel agencies nationwide. My Medical CD has built a special travel agent registration section on its website (http://www.mymedicalcd.com) as well as a tracking system replete with a customer database, the ability to pay commissions and marketing support materials.

My Medical CD has the ability to store medical information that is updateable on demand via a secure client personal web page. It can also contain critical travel document information such as passport information, travelers' checks and other related travel documentation. In addition, the 128 bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) secures the transmission of on-line information between the client's browser and the My Medical CD website, making it virtually impossible to intercept and tamper with the information.

"The My Medical CD is a natural fit for the ancillary services travel agents provide their clients," said James K. Hogan, President and CEO of My Medical CD, Ltd. "Now that travel has regained its momentum with transaction levels exceeding those of pre 9/11 days, the timing is right for us to reach the traveling public in the U.S. Without question, we feel the best way to reach travelers is through the travel agent community so we have set up a customized section just for those professionals in the travel community who are interested in another profit center and the opportunity to offer their clients a quality product."

The My Medical CD retails for $49.95 plus an annual maintenance fee to update all information in a timely fashion over a twelve month period.
