WHAT: College Poker Championship III(TM) will donate $1 for
every student that participates in Sunday evening's
poker tournament at www.collegepoker.com to the
September 11th Children's Fund. The tournament is free
to all registered college and university students
worldwide.
WHO: Rewarding poker playing students from around the world
with scholarships throughout the school year, the
College Poker Championship is expected to give $200,000
in academic scholarships during the third annual
tournament. All events are played with tournament chips
at no cost to students.
The online tournament, regularly scheduled for Sunday
evenings, will be donating $1 for every student who
participates on Sunday, September 11 to the September
11th Children's Fund.
The September 11th Children's Fund was established to
provide aid for children who lost a parent or legal
guardian during the terrorist attacks of 9/11 to help
ease the financial burden of primary and secondary
education costs.
