Morphogenix Announces First-Ever How-To TV Series for New Moms Made for Public Television

NETA to Distribute the 26-Episode Series, 'Real Moms, Real Stories, Real Savvy,' which Debuts in January 2006

CHICAGO, Oct. 18, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Morphogenix, an integrated marketing company serving the educational needs of new and expectant mothers through its Real Savvy Moms(tm) brand, announced today an agreement with the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA) to distribute its new series made specifically for public television, "Real Moms, Real Stories, Real Savvy."

The weekly half-hour show will be presented by three dynamic, real moms in a vibrant and contemporary style. The announcement was made today at The Marketing to Moms Conference, being held Monday and today at the Chicago Cultural Center.

"We are delighted to be working with The National Educational Telecommunications Association, (NETA) to distribute our series to public television stations across the country," says Kate Rolston, president and CEO of Morphogenix. "NETA's high standards for quality programming and impeccable reputation will help 'Real Moms, Real Stories, Real Savvy' reach a significant number of new and expectant moms with this important information."

Hosting the 26-episode series will be three young mothers who've been through the trials and tribulations of early parenting. They will share their own personal stories as they introduce viewers to experienced moms and experts on each topic. The show's purpose is to address the issues and concerns raised by moms in focus groups conducted nationally by Morphogenix over the last several months. Topics include: pre- and post-natal nutrition; infant feeding/nutrition; common baby concerns; child safety; choosing childcare; fitness; and serious health issues such as gestational diabetes, toxemia, and endometriosis.

"The show respects the intelligence of new and expectant moms and the public television viewership by raising awareness, educating, and providing solutions and resources on relevant topics," says Rolston.

Each week the program will bring heartfelt stories from real moms that viewers can connect with on an emotional level. Some of these topics include infertility, post-partum depression, grief and loss, miscarriage, and divorce. Experts in each field will offer testimony, hope, guidance, and support.
