Together with the squeeze-out operation of the remaining minority shareholders (0.26%) that started on February 28 and was concluded today, this transaction will result in KBC obtaining full ownership of Warta and will pave the way for it to start the delisting procedure.
By acquiring full ownership, KBC is reaffirming its long-term commitment to Warta. It will become even more active in the company's governance and management with a view to supporting the future expansion of Warta and taking full advantage of group synergies. Together with Warta's management and staff, KBC aims to consolidate Warta's market position and results, in order to further its development.
