iLumen and the Timber Frame Business Council Announce Relationship to Offer Financial Benchmarking to Association Members

ATLANTA, March 21, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- In a joint announcement today, iLumen, Inc., a financial information technology company, and the Timber Frame Business Council, an organization formed to strengthen the timber frame industry, introduced a relationship to offer ongoing financial benchmarking to its member firms. Members of the Timber Frame Business Council include timber frame companies, suppliers and industry associates throughout the United States and Canada.

"The home building industry is experiencing exceptional growth, especially within the custom home market," said Chad DeLong, Executive Director of the Timber Frame Business Council. "We've tried conducting annual surveys in the past, but the process was too cumbersome and the information was outdated by the time we were able to present it. iLumen's Financial Industry Benchmarking service will give our members a much easier way to access the ongoing, comparative benchmarking analysis they have been asking for."

"Most timber frame businesses were started by, and now are, managed by craftsmen. As our businesses grow and mature, it becomes clear that a higher level of financial knowledge and performance is required," said John Scott Miller, President of the Timber Frame Business Council. "iLumen's online benchmarking service will enable our membership to enhance their business skills and knowledge in this critical area."

"The Timber Frame Business Council is an organization that is committed to providing its members with valuable business information," said Robert H. Woosley, Chief Executive Officer of iLumen. "Companies that subscribe to iLumen's Financial Industry Benchmarking benefit from comparing their company's financial performance versus industry peer groups that can be customized by company size, revenue and geographic region."

"As a growing organization, we are looking for new ways to expand our reach within the timber frame industry as well as to expand our knowledge of key trends within the market," said DeLong. "iLumen's services will provide us with the means to actively recruit new members and continue to deliver value to existing members."
