MEMPHIS, Tenn., April 12, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Education Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE:EDR) today announced that its board of directors has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.2975 per share of common stock for the quarter ended March 31, 2006.
The dividend will be payable May 9, 2006, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on April 25, 2006.
The dividend of $0.2975 per share of common stock is consistent with the company's previously announced annualized dividend target of $1.19 per share for 2006.
