With effect from 8 May 2006, the Supervisory Board of Talanx AG appointed Dr. Immo Querner (43) as Member of the Board of Management. The Supervisory Board of HDI V.a.G. has also appointed Dr. Querner as Member of the Board of Management with effect from 8 May 2006. During the next few months, Dr. Querner will focus on coordinating the integration of the Gerling companies within the Talanx Group.
From June 2002 to April 2006, Dr. Querner was a Member of the Board of Management of Gerling-Konzern Versicherungs-Beteiligungs-AG (GKB). Since June 2002, he has been a member of the executive management of Gerling Beteiligungs-GmbH (GBG) and responsible for the portfolio Group Controlling, Group Accounting, Tax and Shareholdings, Pension, and Mergers and Acquisitions (Chief Financial Officer).
