Pan Fish' acquisition of Fjord Seafood ASA has in those jurisdictions where the transaction has been subject to a notification requirement to national competition authorities, been considered an independent deal separated from the acquisition of Marine Harvest. Subject to the fact the the UK Office of Fair Trading decided not to report the acquisition of Fjord Seafood to the Competition Commission for investigation and report, the Fjord transaction is considered approved in all jurisdictions concerned. Thus, as of today the integration of the Fjord Seafood activities into Pan Fish businesses will commence.
