-- Wireless Minneapolis - BelAir Networks and US Internet have begun site
surveys and the first steps in building the network that will blanket the
entire city of Minneapolis. The city will offer inexpensive broadband high-
speed Internet access from one to three megabits for less than $20,
guaranteed for ten years.
-- Boston's Wireless Initiative - BelAir Networks, US Internet and Charys
Technology Group will offer the first pilot wireless network in connection
with the city's wireless broadband initiative, covering one square mile in
Roxbury, and reaching over 5,000 households. This pilot will serve as the
first demonstration network for the Boston initiative.
-- Siemens Networks Partnership - A worldwide agreement enables Siemens
to market and sell BelAir Networks products globally under the Siemens
brand as part of its mobile networking portfolio. The companies have
already teamed on several projects for leading cable and cellular
operators, focused on both WiMAX mesh deployments and cellular backhaul.
