Gough Named Executive Vice President of Sysco Intermountain Food Services, Inc.


HOUSTON, Dec. 20, 2006 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- SYSCO Corporation (NYSE:SYY), North America's largest foodservice marketer and distributor, announced today that Lisa C. Gough has been named executive vice president of Sysco Intermountain Food Services, Inc., a broadline foodservice distribution subsidiary located in West Jordan, Utah. She has served as senior vice president of that operation since January 2006 and will assume her new responsibilities effective January 1, 2007.

Ms. Gough, 43, joined Sysco Intermountain as a staff accountant in 1997, advanced to controller in 1998, and was promoted to vice president, program sales in 2001. She is a member of the Women's Foodservice Forum.

Ms. Gough is a native of Salt Lake City, Utah. She earned a bachelor of science in accounting from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Ms. Gough has three sons and she and her husband Dave are residents of Sandy, Utah.
