SPi Expands Publisher Services Relationship With Oxford University Press

Agreement to Provide Editorial and Content Production Services to OUP Inc.

WASHINGTON, DC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 14, 2007 -- SPi, a global provider of editorial, content production, and business process outsourcing solutions (BPO) for publishers and other information providers, announced today that it is expanding its relationship with Oxford University Press (OUP) by providing editorial and content production services to OUP Inc., OUP's US-based publishing business.

Since 1988, SPi has been providing end-to-end pre-press services to OUP's Europe-based publishing group for its Book, Major Reference Works, and Dictionary products including significant content transformation support services for Oxford Scholarship Online and Oxford Reference Online. Under the new agreement, SPi will provide similar services to OUP Inc. Jess Lawson, EDP Projects Manager, OUP, remarked, "SPi has been with us every step of the way and we are very excited to be expanding our relationship with them into delivery of new services, including the introduction of XML-first workflows for our online and repurposed products."

Commenting on the occasion, Frank Stumpf, President of SPi's Publishing division, said, "SPi is delighted with the opportunity to deepen its long-standing partnership with OUP. Our consultative and solutions driven approach has enabled us to build customized solutions to meet OUP's unique needs."
