Vilnius, March 14. Apranga Group, the leader of retail apparel market in Lithuania and the Baltics, opens two stores in Siauliai, shopping centre Saules Miestas. These are 650 sq. m. area shop for the whole family Apranga and 290 sq. m. young fashion multibrand store Aprangos Galerija, presenting brand names Miss Sixty, Energie, Blend of America, Jack&Jones, S.Oliver, Morgan, Broadway. At the same time the previous Apranga shop located at Vilnius str. in Siauliai is closed in order to increase operational efficiency. “Apranga Group is rapidly expanding both in large cities and regional centres. We always choose the most comfortable locations for the customer. We strongly believe shopping centre Saules Miestas will be attractive place for shopping in Siauliai” - claims the general manager of Apranga Group Rimantas Perveneckas. Apranga Group now operates 68 shops with the total area of 41.3 thousand sq. m. 48 stores are located in Lithuania, 17 in Latvia and 3 in Estonia. This year Apranga group already opened 4 stores. On the 23rd of March the first Pull and Bear store in Latvia will be opened. Beginning of April Apranga Group will open 9 new shops with total area of 5.7 sq. m. in Kaunas. Apranga group plans to close 2 and refurbish 2 shops in Kaunas centre, Laisves avenue, middle of April. The retail chain turnover of Apranga Group in first 2 months of 2007 was LTL 56.9 million (EUR 16.5 million), and has increased by 48.7% comparing to January - February 2006. In January - February 2007 turnover of Apranga Group grew by 56.0% in Vilnius, 36.0% in Kaunas, 50.6% in Klaipeda, 47.1% in Siauliai, 22.7% in Panevezys, 32,8% in Riga, and 60,9% in Tallinn.
