New MEF Americas Board to Bring Strength in Diversity


ORLANDO, Fla., March 29, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- MEF Americas held its annual meeting on March 27 to discuss the past year's accomplishments and elect its new board. With consumer-centric initiatives on ad-funded content, communities and mobile education, MEF Americas has established itself as the definitive association for mobile entertainment and is poised to influence developing sectors of the industry with a diverse board and an expanded membership.

Ted Cohen, MEF Americas Chairman, said, "MEF is leading the charge on providing companies with the necessary tools to deliver a superior customer experience. The continuing board of MEF Americas includes Ted Cohen (Managing Partner, TAG Strategic), Jill Braff (General Manager, Americas & SVP Worldwide Marketing, Glu Mobile), John Burris (VP Wireless Data Services, Sprint) and Dave Ulmer (Senior Director of Entertainment Products), Motorola). Cohen was re-elected by the new board as chair and Ulmer will serve as vice chair. The new board members are as follows:
