The bank has successfully issued its first bond in the international capital market. Recently, the bank was assigned ratings by Moody's, and shortly afterwards, the bank established an EMTN-programme of EUR 2,000 million. Under the programme, the bank has now issued a EUR 750 million bond with a five-year maturity. The bond has been subscribed by more than 50 international investors, and was oversubscribed. The proceeds are to enhance the bank's liquidity and future growth. In future, bond issues will be used as a supplement to the traditional, long-term interbank funding through bilateral agreements and international loan syndicates.
