Considering the public notice made about AB Gubernija on 13 April 2007, below is the formal statement given by the Director General of the company: 1) Upon the take over of company management by Mr Romas Bubnelis, Director General of AB Gubernija on 6 April 2007, the company was found to lack raw materials necessary for the company to work at full capacity. AB Gubernija production is not carried on at full capacity since 11 April 2007; production at full capacity is intended to be started by 1 May 2007; 2) Payments of AB Gubernija to creditors and persons supplying raw materials, are overdue. AB Gubernija is aware that the creditor UAB Šiaulių Vandenys has submitted a claim to court regarding payment of overdue amounts. It was stated in the public notice that AB Gubernija is indebted to the gas supplier which is considering cutting off gas supply. Please be advised that AB Gubernija had partly paid overdue amounts to the gas supplier on the day the said notice was made. UAB Durpa, the supplier of malt had stopped supplying the malt due to the debt of AB Gubernija amounting to Litas 1,5 million, and had not renewed the supply by the date of the public notice. AB Gubernija is not indebted to banks and no restrictions are imposed by the banks on the company. 3) On 11 April 2007 Mr Romas Bubnelis, Director General of AB Gubernija has submitted a resignation statement to Mr Vytautas Liubinas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AB Gubernija, however, the request has not been satisfied yet, and Mr Romas Bubnelis has been granted additional period of time for consideration and is performing the functions of the Director General of AB Gubernija. 4) To the knowledge of the Director General, the Board of Directors and its individual members had not submitted resignation statements by the date of the public notice. 5) To the knowledge of the Director General no creditor of AB Gubernija had commenced bankruptcy proceedings against AB Gubernija in court by the date of the public notice.
