ATA Airlines Reports Rise in Load Factor for April to 87.1 Percent


INDIANAPOLIS, May 4, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- ATA Airlines, Inc. reported today that its passenger load factor for scheduled service increased to 87.1%, up by 6.4% compared with 80.7% for the same period in 2006. A total of 220,496 passengers enplaned in April, a decrease of 3.4%, compared with 228,287 for the same period a year ago. Scheduled service traffic increased to 354.3 million Revenue Passenger Miles (RPMs), 6.8% higher than that for the same period in 2006. Capacity, denoted by Available Seat Miles (ASMs), decreased 1.1 percent to 406.9 million compared with April 2006.

As of April 30, 2007, ATA has a fleet of 3 Boeing 737-300s, 12 Boeing 737-800s, 6 Boeing 757-200s, 4 Boeing 757-300s, and 4 Lockheed L-1011s.
