Providence has today been notified by Dr Brian Hillery that, on 3 May, 2007, he disposed of 500,500 ordinary shares of €0.001 each in the capital of the Company, by way of sale at a price of euro 7.6 cent per share. Following this disposal, Dr Hillery holds 1,406,939 ordinary shares, representing approximately 0.057 % of the issued ordinary share capital.

The proceeds of the sale are being used by Dr Hillery to fund the previously announced exercise of options and associated costs and expenses.
