ReadSoft automates invoice processing at Schenker-Joyau

Schenker-Joyau, a subsidiary of the Schenker Group and a major player
in the logistics area in France, has decided to automate their
invoice processing in order to improve the administration processes
within their SAP environment. Schenker-Joyau has chosen ReadSoft
DOCUMENTS for Invoices to process the 240,000 invoices they receive
every year.

With 3,250 employees and a turnover of 336 million Euros in 2006,
Schenker-Joyau is one of the largest logistics companies in France.
Today, all invoices are received at the headquarters in Montaigu and
then sent around for approval between the 60 local offices and the
Accounts Payable Department. A new French law, called 2006-10,
stipulates that invoices should be paid within 30 days or penalties
may apply. These requirements are hard to meet with a manual
workflow."The 2006-10 law encouraged us to move towards an automated and
reliable process that could also increase productivity", explains
Bernard Scorvidere, IT Manager at Schenker Joyau.

After evaluating the solutions on the market, Schenker Joyau chose

will help us to reduce the manual processing of our supplier

The new automation platform will also mean increased control of the
Purchase-to-Pay process since the invoices will be automatically
matched against information in SAP on a line item level. The aim is
to be in production before the end of June 2007.
