Dearborn Speech & Sensory Center Launches New Web Site
DEARBORN, MI -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 14, 2007 -- Dearborn Speech and Sensory Center has
launched a newly designed Web site, www.dearbornspeechandsensory.com,
highlighting the therapy services it provides for children and adults of
all ages.
The new Web site was developed by CheckEngine USA, a company that
specializes in web site overhauls and tune-ups for enhanced usability,
standards and accessibility.
"A lot of parents, teachers, therapists and others visit our Web site to
access valuable child development information, research adult therapies,
link to a variety of educational resources, and learn about all of our
therapy programs and services," said Lori M. Shaffer, a speech language
pathologist and director of the Dearborn Speech and Sensory Center. "Our
new Web site is better organized to help people do this."
The Web site also includes information and application forms about the
Center's annual Summer Camp which is a program designed for children of all
ages who can benefit from individual and small group therapy to help with a
variety of needs including socializing and playing with classmates, paying
attention in class, processing sensory information, talking with classmates
and legible handwriting.
"From time to time, we also host educational workshops for teachers,
therapists and others," said Shaffer. "Our new Web site will make it easier
for participants to obtain detailed information about these seminars and to
register."
