NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - May 30, 2007) - Maintaining an aggressive pace for the
expansion of its intellectual property practice, King & Spalding, a leading
international law firm, announced today that Ethan Horwitz, a top-ranked

as a top-flight intellectual property trial lawyer, handling an impressive
roster of precedent-setting cases. He will be a key player in our
continuing efforts to enhance the IP services we provide our clients."
Horwitz's experience in patent litigation includes an historic patent case
in which he obtained the first-ever preliminary injunction on a design
patent on behalf of Oscar Mayer for the company's Lunchables product. In a
landmark case, he obtained a preliminary injunction on behalf of Pepperidge
Farm based on the company's rights to the shape of its Goldfish crackers.
He is the author of three prominent treatises on intellectual property law
published by Matthew Bender & Co. These are Patent Litigation: Procedures
and Tactics (3 volumes), Intellectual Property Counseling and Litigation (7
