Timo Salonen, Executive Vice President for Strategy Development, has been appointed to the role of CFO starting July 1.
Timo Salonen has over 16 years of experience in Huhtamaki and has been a member of the Group Executive Team since 1999. In addition to his current role, his previous positions include being CFO as well as Executive Vice President Rigid Packaging Europe. Timo Salonen's broad experience of Huhtamaki's business and of the CFO role will support the continuing development of Huhtamaki.
The current CFO, Sakari Ahdekivi, will leave Huhtamaki to join another company in Finland.
Sakari Ahdekivi has made a great contribution to Huhtamaki as CFO and a member of the Group Executive Team. During his 2.5 years in Huhtamaki, he has lead the Finance and Control, Information Systems as well as some other Group functions.
