Helping Florida Residents Prepare for Hurricane Season: U-Haul Ramps Up for Hurricane-Preparedness Week

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., June 1, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- U-Haul Company of Florida announced today that in support of the upcoming Florida Hurricane-Preparedness Week, all Florida U-Haul locations have increased their inventory of hurricane-preparedness supplies. From June 1st through the 12th, items such as batteries, flashlights, bungee cords, tarps, ropes and two-way radios can be purchased tax free at all U-Haul locations throughout Florida. U-Haul also urges everyone to stop in and make sure that their propane cylinders are topped off, since propane is in such high demand following a large storm and it is important to make sure that your family is prepared now.
