OREM, UT--(Marketwire - June 6, 2007) - In response to the Federal Drug Administration's (FDA) recent import alert regarding toothpaste made in China, Xlear, Inc. has issued the following statement:

"We have received a number of inquiries recently about the FDA's decision to detain shipments from China of toothpaste containing diethylene glycol, or DEG. We want to assure our customers and partners that our Spry Coolmint Toothpaste and Spry Spearmint Toothpaste do not contain DEG, and are in fact made in the United States (in the state of Connecticut). There is no DEG in any of our products, and we make sure that all of our products comply with the FDA's strict guidelines.
