Rezidor to open a new Park Inn Hotel in Manchester
The Rezidor Hotel Group further extends the fast growing Park Inn portfolio in
the UK: Shortly after announcing the Park Inn Glasgow City Centre, the company
has now signed a contract to open the Park Inn Manchester in Q3 2009 - featuring
252 guest rooms. Between 2007 and 2009, Rezidor will open 20.000 new rooms in
total.
The Park Inn Manchester benefits from excellent visibility, and fronts Cheetham
Hill Road - one of the main axis leading out of Manchester to the motorway
network to the north and east of the country. Located within Crosby Homes' award
winning Greenquarter Development, the Park Inn site is adjacent to the second
biggest gateway junction to Manchester, with approximately 260.000 traffic
movements a week. The new hotel will be opposite the Manchester Evening News
Arena, close to the local retail district and the Commonwealth Games Velodrome.
Services of the Park Inn will comprise a restaurant, a bar, conference- &
meeting rooms, leisure- & spa facilities.
