APOPKA, Fla., July 10, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation's (NYSE:NOC) Laser Systems business unit achieved a key milestone in May with the delivery of its 5,000th Mark VII hand-held laser rangefinder.

The Mark VII laser rangefinder is lightweight and compact and can be used day and night to determine accurate target location. It has been purchased by the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force and Special Operations Command and is currently in active service in Iraq and Afghanistan.
