2007 SECOND QUARTER RESULTS AND CONFERENCE CALL MONDAY, 23


Metro International  S.A., the  international newspaper  group,  will
announce its financial results for  the second quarter ended 30  June
2007. The press  release will be  published on 23  July at 8:00  A.M.
CET. The report will be available at www.metro.lu .

CEO Pelle  Törnberg, CFO  Frank  Mooty and  COO Chris  Spalding  will
