Gas Prices Mixed -- Some Up, Some Down

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - July 20, 2007) - Retail gas prices showed mixed results this week as the Texas average price for a gallon of self serve regular rose four-tenths of a cent to $2.91 a gallon, according to the AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch.

Amarillo fell 12 cents from its all-time record high of $3.30 a gallon last week to its current average of $3.18 a gallon. Corpus Christi bumped Houston to have the lowest average on the survey this week at $2.82 a gallon -- down two cents. Houston averages $2.84 a gallon.

The national average is $3.020 a gallon -- down less than a penny.
