ENVIRON Announces New Principals


ARLINGTON, VA--(Marketwire - July 24, 2007) - Ewire -- ENVIRON is pleased to announce the promotion of ten individuals to Principal.

Patrick J. Campbell, P.E., becomes a Principal in the Nashville, TN office. Pat has more than 17 years of experience in the design and operation of industrial wastewater and ground water treatment plants. He executed numerous large-scale integrated wastewater projects for the petroleum refining, organic chemicals, and iron and steel industries.

Doug Daugherty, Ph.D., P.E., C.I.H., becomes a Principal in the Emeryville, CA office. Doug has more than 12 years of experience using his biochemical engineering and industrial hygiene expertise to provide industrial hygiene, air quality, emergency release, indoor environmental quality, and litigation support within a wide variety of industries. More recently, he has evaluated potential occupational exposures and environmental impacts from the release of nano-scale materials.

Frederic Hamilton becomes a Principal in the Paris, France office. Fred has more than 10 years' experience in environmental consulting, with particular expertise in human health risk assessments in support of site closure and remediation and environmental due diligence.

Phil Hitchcock becomes a Principal in the Maitland, Australia office. Phil is a hydrogeologist with more than 20 years of experience providing environmental advice in relation to soil, landfill, and ground water contamination issues. He has in-depth experience in ground water and contaminant transport modelling and is published widely in these fields.

Adam Johnston becomes a Principal in the Arlington, VA office. Adam has more than 17 years of experience in environmental consulting, with particular expertise in environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, and human health risk assessment. He has conducted and overseen hundreds of environmental site assessments of industrial facilities, including estimation of potential liabilities and compliance costs for identified issues.

Mark Nielsen, P.E., becomes a Principal based out of the Princeton, NJ, and Philadelphia, PA offices. Mark has more than 15 years of environmental engineering experience, including the management of site assessment and remediation projects and litigation support, with particular emphasis on the application of risk assessment and risk management strategies to site remediation and landfill closure projects under RCRA, Superfund, and state cleanup programs.

Sheila Sharma becomes a Principal in the Malaysia office. Sheila has 14 years of experience in environmental consulting. Her areas of expertise include site assessments, due diligence and compliance audits, regulatory advisory services, contamination investigation, environmental impact assessment, environmental monitoring and management plans/systems, and general health and safety assessments. She has extensive knowledge of the regulatory framework in Asia-Pacific and project experience in the UK and South Africa.

Magdalena Trybuch becomes a Principal in the Warsaw, Poland office. Magda has more than 20 years of public- and private-sector experience in Central and Eastern Europe, focused on the institutional, economic, and technical aspects of water and wastewater management and solid waste treatment and disposal.

Heike Wenzel becomes a Principal in the Essen, Germany office. Trained as an environmental engineer and scientist, Heike has more than 10 years of experience in environmental compliance and due diligence assessments, EHS management systems (ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001), waste management and waste minimization evaluations, and leading EHS training courses.

John Wojciak, Ph.D., P.E., becomes a Principal based out of Houston, TX. John has 20 years of experience in environmental engineering and project management for projects in the US and abroad. His specialized technical expertise includes environmental due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance consulting, site assessment and remediation, insurance, risk and liability assessment, litigation support, remedial cost estimation, and strategic planning.
