Registration Now Open for Sage Summit, Blowing Into the Windy City November 3-6

User Conference Highlights Include Educational Sessions, Networking Opportunities, Dynamic Speakers, and More

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - July 26, 2007) - Sage Software today announced that registration is now open for its third annual user conference, Sage Summit, set for November 3-6, 2007 in Chicago. This 4-day event will present opportunities for attendees to network, share best practices in business management, learn how to better utilize their Sage Software solutions, and hear about industry and business trends affecting them and their organizations.

Open to the more than 2.8 million small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) in the U.S. and Canada who use Sage Software products, Sage Summit offers sessions covering the broad family of Sage Software products and services, developed for the range of businesses who use them: from accounting to HR, ERP (enterprise resource planning) and CRM (customer relationship management), as well as industry-focused products such as Sage Timberline Office and Sage MIP Fund Accounting.

Using a 'conference within a conference' format for the more than 2,000 attendees, Sage Summit preserves the experience of community for similar customers from the different product groups while also facilitating connections with other Sage Software product users from a variety of industries.

"Our customers represent a wide-ranging set of small and mid-sized businesses whose individual successes are an invaluable source of shared knowledge across industries and with their peers," said Ron Verni, CEO, Sage Software. "Sage Summit offers an exceptional opportunity for our customers to come together for networking and learning about their software systems as well as business and industry trends that can impact their success. This conference is a cornerstone of our commitment to being customer-connected, and to helping our customers develop even more successful businesses."

Session tracks will be broken out by experience level and interest area so that attendees can personalize their conference experiences. Individuals who are new to Sage may choose sessions from two distinct tracks: "Mastering the Essentials" and "Administering and Implementing Your System." More experienced Sage customers may find "Becoming a Power User" more their speed, or classes in the "Looking Ahead at Product Futures" of most interest. Other tracks, such as "Exploring Integration," will offer the opportunity to learn about relevant issues impacting industry segments and allow attendees to explore other software tools to improve their businesses. Sessions in the "General Interest" track will focus on broader business trends and issues, and offer helpful tips on how to manage more effectively back in the office.

The conference will kick off with product information sessions, during which attendees can learn about what's new in the Sage Software products and other products that complement their current solutions. They can also select from a series of Peer2Peer Roundtable discussions, during which they will be able to interact with each other, discuss issues they face in their own businesses and exchange ideas. 'Meet and Greet' receptions in each of the six product communities, will kick off the opening night of the conference. Attendees will have the opportunity to mingle and learn more about each other as well as the products in their communities.

In addition to educational sessions, attendees will have access to hands-on product activities in a lab environment, including the Sage Summit Support Center, where they will have the opportunity to interact one-on-one with customer support analysts and technical support experts. A limited number of 30-minute time slots are available at the Support Center each day and can be reserved during registration.

The conference also will include a Trade Show exhibition featuring hundreds of experts, solution developers, and service providers offering tips and tools to assist attending customers. At the Trade Show, visitors will be able to exchange ideas with experts in a variety of areas as well as explore an array of technologies and solutions to help improve productivity and internal processes.
