Japan Servo Revises Upward Its Financial Forecasts for Fiscal Year Ending March 31, 2008


KYOTO, Japan, July 27, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Nidec Corporation ("Nidec") (NYSE:NJ) today announced that one of its consolidated subsidiaries, Japan Servo Co., Ltd. ("Japan Servo") (Tokyo Stock Exchange Second Section: 6585), has revised its consolidated financial forecasts for the year ending March 31, 2008 as follows.

Japan Servo became a consolidated subsidiary of Nidec in April 2007 and, in view of the current progress in post merger integration, expects to return to break-even on a full-year basis.
