TGS-NOPEC - Q2-2007 webcast and teleconference. Cmd postponed

TGS-NOPEC will publish its Q2 2007 results before 09,00 Norwegian time on the morning of
August 9th, 2007. At the same time, a recorded presentation with Audio by CEO Hank  Hamilton
and CFO Arne Helland will be made  available at www.tgsnopec.no. The slides from the presentation will also be
available in PDF format at both the TGS NOPEC and Oslo Stock Exchange websites.
 
Following the joint merger announcement with Wavefield Inseis ASA on July 30th, TGS has
decided to postpone the scheduled Capital Markets day to a later date. 
 
CEO Hank Hamilton, VP Business Development John Adamick and CFO Arne Helland will host a
conference call on August 9th at 15,00 Norwegian time (9,00 AM New York time). Norwegian
