Shareholders meeting of SIA LatRosTrans which is a subsidiary of stock company Ventspils nafta has re-elected the Council of SIA LatRosTrans by including in its new composition Mr. Vladimirs Solomatins, new Chairman of the Council of a/s Ventspils nafta. V.Solomatins was elected as the Chairman of the Council of a/s Ventspils nafta on 20 July 2007 and his expert authority in the relevant sphere of activity, which has been highly evaluated by his colleagues, will be substantially useful in the management and supervision of the operation of SIA LatRosTrans who is the owner and operator of oil and oil products pipelines. V.Solomatins has Scientific Doctoral degree in Economy, he has acquired his education at Business School Lausanne (Switzerland), Moscow Institute of Management (Russia) and at the University of Latvia. The new Chairman of the Council of a/s Ventspils nafta is also an academician of International Informatization Academy and knows Russian, Latvian and English languages. He has been working in the Council of a/s Ventspils nafta since 2003. SIA LatRosTrans has two joint owners - a/s Ventspils nafta holding 66%, and Russian partners a/s Transņefteprodukt - holding 34% of shares. The Company ensures the transportation of oil and oil products via pipelines within the territory of Latvia. The total length of SIA LatRosTrans pipelines is 700 km. Persons who are in the composition of the Council of SIA LatRosTrans are: representatives of the Latvian owners - Vladimirs Krastiņš (Chairman of the Council), V.Solomatins, Olga Pētersone, Jānis Blaževičs and Rolands Kalniņš, and persons representing the Russian owners - Viktors Ligalovs (Deputy Chairman of the Council), Konstantīns Šeins and Nikolajs Dovgaļuks.
