EnergySolutions Appoints New CFO and International Division President

SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwire - August 15, 2007) - EnergySolutions announced today the
appointment of Philip Strawbridge as Chief Financial Officer. Mr.
Strawbridge, former CEO of BNG America, has served for the past 18 months
as President of EnergySolutions International Group.
"Philip has strong nuclear industry knowledge and experience both
internationally and domestically, which will prove valuable in his new
capacity as CFO of EnergySolutions," said Steve Creamer, CEO of
EnergySolutions.
Previously, Philip served as CFO at OHM and IT Corporations, both publicly
traded on the NYSE, prior to becoming CEO of BNG America.
Additionally, Mark Morant, who recently joined EnergySolutions as Managing
Director, Reactor Sites Management Company, has accepted the position as
President of the International Group. Mr. Morant also has extensive
knowledge and experience in the nuclear industry with specific expertise in
leading large operating contracts.
