Emergent Opens Poland Office to Meet Growing Demand and Foster Partnerships in Eastern Europe

CALABASAS, CA and LEIPZIG, GERMANY--(Marketwire - August 22, 2007) - GC Developers Conference: Hall 1, Stand #181 -- Today at the GC Developers Conference in Leipzig (GCDC), Emergent Game Technologies announced that it has opened a regional office in Poland to address the rapidly growing demand for its game development technology and services, and to foster strong strategic partnerships in Eastern Europe and Russia. To lead the office and drive all marketing, sales and strategic partner efforts in the region, the company has hired industry veteran Dave Solomon, as Head of Developer Relations for Eastern Europe.

Emergent already licenses its award-winning game development technologies and serves many innovative game development companies in this region, including Play Ten and Alterlab in Russia, and Black See Studios in Bulgaria, among many others.

Emergent's new Poland office will provide on-the-ground service to Eastern Europe and facilitate a collaborative environment with existing and new customers to advance new tool sets and technologies that will dramatically enhance worldwide game development, according to Geoffrey Selzer, CEO of Emergent.
