AFFECTO'S PUBLIC TENDER OFFER FOR COMPONENT SOFTWARE - PRELIMINARY RESULTS

Affecto Plc ("Affecto") launched on 25 July 2007 its public tender offer  for
all issued and outstanding shares of Component Software Group ASA ("Component
Software"). The acceptance period for the offer commenced on 25 July 2007 and
expired on 22 August 2007.

Based  on  the preliminary unconfirmed results received from the arranger  of
the  tender offer, shares representing over 90% of total shares and votes  in
Component Software were validly tendered.

The Board of Directors of Affecto will convene on 27 August 2007 to decide on
the  completion of the public tender offer. Affecto will announce  the  final
result of the public tender offer on 27 August 2007. The announcement of  the
final  result  will confirm the amount and the proportion of  shares  validly
tendered for (of all Component Software shares).
