A Moral Odyssey -- A Touching, Action-Packed Adventure Up in the Rockies Unfolds in New Novel of Richard Snow

GREEN VALLEY, Ariz., Aug. 27, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Thriller fans looking for a pulse-pounding adventure up in the North American Rockies are in for an exciting ride with the release of a new thriller from Richard Snow. In "Struggle on Bear Hill" (Paperback $ 20.99; Xlibris Publishing), Snow weaves a riveting tale of friendship, honor, and courage, vividly spun through the epic odyssey of three Native Americans.

"Struggle on Bear Hill," which hits bookstores this month, follows the trail of Omo, Ali and Old Moon, a trio of outcasts driven out of their tribe. Forced to stick together as one "family," the three friends take up residence on a storied place called Bear Hill where they meet and immerse with another family who had saved Omo from a bear attack. Unknown to them, a band of cutthroat "diggers" are stalking them, waiting for the right moment to strike -- and raid their food and other useful items. After a furious blizzard ravages the area, one digger dies, and another one unreasonably blames the death on the residents of Bear Hill and goes after them -- only to wind up badly hurt in his act of vengeance.

The injured digger, however, finds unexpected compassion from the people he tried to hurt and feels remorse for his actions. The dramatic episode paves the way for the birth of a long and lasting friendship; a union that will be tested by obstacles about to come their way. "Struggle on Bear Hill" is already available online at Xlibris.com.
