Changes of the Board

At today's meeting, the Board of Rockwool International A/S has decided to
recommend to the Annual General Meeting in April 2008, that Steen Risgaard is
elected to the Board of Rockwool International A/S as replacement for Gustav
Kähler, who has reached the Board's age limit of 70 year. 

Steen Risgaard, 56, is President & CEO of Novozymes A/S, a position he has held
since Novozymes A/S was demerged from Novo Nordisk A/S in 2000. He furthermore
serves on the boards of WWF (World Wildlife Fund) Denmark and Egmont
International Holding A/S and is Chairman of EuropaBio.
