Boliden's CEO Jan Johansson announced today that he is leaving the company and
has accepted the position as CEO at SCA.

- Jan Johansson has been with Boliden for six years, a period during which the
company has been through significant changes. With commitment and great
knowledge Jan Johansson has contributed to making Boliden stronger than ever. We
are sorry that he is leaving us and we wish him all the best in his new
position. We have clear goals and strategies for the Group's continued growth
and we have initiated the process of finding the person to take this further,
