Today, DPA Flex Group N.V. (DPA) has reached an agreement on the takeover of purchase consultancy company Conink consultants B.V. (Conink). After the takeover, the activities of Conink and those of subsidiary DPA Supply Chain People (DPA SCP) will be merged. The takeover is in line with DPA's growth strategy and will give DPA a leading position in the field of Purchasing and Logistics, which represents the third pillar of the service providing company, in addition to Finance and IT.
The results of Conink will be included in the consolidated figures of DPA from the moment of takeovervities of DPA Flex as separate division. Conink will contribute immediately to the profit per share. The takeover will be paid for in cash and will be financed with loan capital. The takeover comprises an amount of 3.8 million Euros.
Conink, founded in 1997, is mainly active in the field of consultancy and secondment for the benefit of purchasing issues in the public sector. Conink takes up a leading position where it concerns support in (European) invitations to tender. At the moment approximately 50 consultants are working at the company in the city of Zwolle. The company is a paying concern and in 2006 sales amounted to approximately 4.1 million Euros.
Like DPA, DPA SCP is aware that its customers want to do business with reliable partners who not only are able to deliver top quality, but also are able to provide adequate capacity at all times. Only service providers who have sufficient scale size can meet those higher customer demands. The new combination covers the entire field of consultancy, secondment, recruitment & selection and outsourcing in the supply chain, in both the public and private sector. The new combination is expected to yield a pro-forma turnover of more than 11 million euros in 2007 as a whole.
