Ameri-Tech Lands $20.7 Million in International and Domestic Projects


CENTER, Texas, Sept. 10, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Ameri-Tech Building Systems has been awarded three domestic and one international contract for projects totaling $20.7 million, which underscore the company's recent announcement that it was expanding its scope of services for man camps, commercial modular and major project site management. "We're extremely pleased that the experience and expertise of our major project management team and sales staff were able to fulfill the needs of these customers for domestic and international camp design, set up and management," says Jim Donnan, CEO of Ameri-Tech Building Systems, one of the largest providers of oilfield housing in the U.S.

A $7 million contract in Texas is for 150,000 square feet of facilities including water supply and water treatment to support the expansion of a chemical plant. Ameri-Tech will complete this 10-month contract with the installation of engineering and general offices, medical facilities, restroom units, dining areas and a water/sewer system.

A $6 million contract in the western U.S. is for a 425-man workforce housing project of 85,000 square feet including full kitchen provisions and dining facilities, offices, IT/internet cafe, media/television rooms, laundry facilities, plus recreation areas with a full gym and stand-alone weight room. Completion on this venture is due at the end of November 2007.

In Alaska, Ameri-Tech has secured a $5.3 million contract for a 160-man, single-bed, cold-climate workforce housing project.

The international project for which Ameri-Tech received the award notification is to build and ship three 60-man workforce housing plans totaling $2.4 million. Included in this project are crew quarters, tool pusher units, medical units, theater units, exercise units, kitchen and dining facilities.
