SWECO to design Radisson SAS Hotel in Ukraine

SWECO's architects have been selected to design a new hotel and office complex
outside the Ukrainian capital of Kiev. The SWECO Group's building service
systems consultants will also create smart solutions for the buildings' HVAC and
plumbing systems. The contract is worth a total of nearly EUR 1.3 million.

“We have designed many hotels and office buildings in the Baltic countries and
Russia, but this is our first architectural assignment in Ukraine - a country
that is investing ambitiously in construction of new hotels and properties,”
says Jan Mattsson, Managing Director of SWECO FFNS.

For Radisson SAS Hotel, to be located between the airport and downtown Kiev, the
architects at SWECO FFNS will design some 350 rooms, a conference facility and a
large spa. The seven-storey office building will sit on an adjacent lot. The
assignment is being carried out on behalf of Eurocon OÜ, one of Estonia's
largest construction companies. The hotel will be operated by the Rezidor hotel
group, whose portfolio includes the Radisson SAS brand.

“We have completed the program drawings and started on detail design of the
hotel,” says Aare Saks responsible for the assignments at SWECO FFNS.

SWECO Theorells' task is to prepare overall system documents for all HVAC and
plumbing work in the project. Detail planning will be handled by local sub
consultants. The company has previously performed several assignments in Ukraine
to assist cities and municipalities with energy efficiency measures.
