DryShips Inc. Announces Quarterly Cash Dividend of $0.20 per Common Share -- Quarterly Dividend Announcement

ATHENS, GREECE--(Marketwire - September 24, 2007) - DryShips Inc. (NASDAQ : DRYS ) announced today
that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.20
per common share, payable October 31st, 2007, to stockholders of record as
of October 15th, 2007. This is the tenth consecutive quarterly cash
dividend of $0.20 per share declared by the Company since its listing on
the NASDAQ Global Market in February 2005.
