The Rezidor Hotel Group announces the 100th Park Inn hotel: The centrally
located Park Inn Aberdeen, Scotland with 184 rooms, restaurant and bar, 8
meeting rooms and fitness centre will welcome the first guests in summer 2009 -
between 2007 and 2009 Rezidor will open 20,000 new rooms in total. With this
property Rezidor underlines its goal for Park Inn to become the strongest
mid-market brand in Scotland; the portfolio in the country already features
projects under development such as the Park Inns Springfield Quay, Glasgow and
Edinburgh Airport.

from 1 to 100 within five years in Europe, the Middle East and Africa is
impressive.” Park Inn is a symbol for young, fresh and innovative mid market

yellow, the brand is highly visible and stands for creative marketing activities
such as the branded Park Inn Airbus which recently celebrated its first take
off. Park Inn is present in leading European cities such as London, Paris and

built and converted hotels in secondary and tertiary cities with a high demand
for mid-market hotels and a great potential for franchise agreements”,

Park Inn's success story started with the Park Inn Berlin Alexanderplatz - the
1006-room-hotel in a skyscraper overlooking the German capital is one of the
brand's flagships since its opening in January 2003. The further development saw
highlights such as the Park Inn Zurich Airport (208 rooms, 2003), the Park Inn
Nice (150 rooms, 2003), the Park Inn London Heathrow comprising the largest
conference centre at UK's largest airport as well as the stylish new restaurant
Bravo!Bravo! (867 rooms, 2004) and the first Park Inn Resort in Sharm El Sheikh
(401 rooms, 2007). On the emerging Russian market, Park Inn is highly visible in
St. Petersburg where the mega properties Park Inn Pulkovskaya (840 rooms) and
Park Inn Pribaltiskaya (1200 rooms) opened in 2006 and 2007.
The coming years will see Park Inn developments in the core markets UK, Germany
and Scandinavia - the new Park Inn Congress Centre Stockholm with 420 rooms and
meeting facilities for up to 3,000 delegates (opening in 2010) is one of the
major projects. The Middle East will benefit from the rapid Park Inn growth as
well - Rezidor has already signed contracts for new openings in locations such
as Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia (2007), Muscat, Oman (2008) and Makkah, Saudi Arabia
(2009).
