This well-known retail chain offers a range of merchandise that includes apparel, home fashions, household goods, toys, hardware, paint, wallpaper, automotive accessories, electronics, sporting goods, furniture, horticulture, cosmetics, jewelry, and convenient food items. Citing significant increases in category losses due to theft, the retailer has decided to source tag a much larger portion of its intimate apparel category using NEXTag(tm), KMA's patented sew-in source tagging solution. Ultimately expected to involve several brands and vendors, the program will be far-reaching in scope to include as many as 15-20 million garment items each year.
In recent years, retailers have increasingly demanded floor ready merchandise, a concept that includes EAS protection.
