The retail turnover of the leader of retail apparel market in Lithuania and the Baltic States Apranga Group has made LTL 45.9 million (EUR 13.3 million) in September 2007, increasing by 47.3% in comparison to September 2006. Apranga Group beats absolute turnover record third month in a row. In September 2007 the retail chain turnover of Apranga Group in Lithuania was LTL 28.9 million (EUR 8.4 million) increasing by 37.7% in comparison to the 2006 result. Retail turnover of Apranga Group in foreign markets was LTL 17.0 million (EUR 4.9 million) and has increased by 67.5%. The foreign turnover share has increased to 37%. The retail turnover in Latvia alone has increased by 81.3%. Turnover in Latvia has made LTL 13.1 million (EUR 3.8 million) and comprised 28.5% of the total turnover of Apranga Group. The turnover of Apranga Group retail chain has made LTL 306.5 million (EUR 88.8 million) in January through September 2007, increasing by LTL 103.4 million (EUR 30.0 million) or 50.9% more than in corresponding period of last year. In January through September 2007 the retail chain turnover of Apranga Group has increased by 51.4% in Lithuania, 53.7% in Latvia, and 40.5% in Estonia. In 2007 Apranga Group has already opened or reconstructed 23 stores, 6 stores were closed. Apranga Group plans to open 7 more stores, including 5 in foreign markets. Currently Apranga Group runs chain of 79 stores with total sales area of 48.5 thousand sq. m. Expansion of Apranga Group in 2007 is the biggest in company's history by area of opened stores, as well as by amount of investments. Total increase of sales area will be 16 thousand sq. m. and investments will reach LTL 40 million (EUR 11.6 million). Apranga Group is owned by the concern MG Baltic.
