Spark Networks Announces Results of Annual Meeting of Stockholders

BEVERLY HILLS, CA--(Marketwire - October 8, 2007) - Spark Networks, Inc. (AMEX : LOV ), a
leading provider of online personals services including brands such as
JDate®.com, AmericanSingles®.com, BlackSingles.com® and
ChristianMingle®.com, announced the results of its Annual Meeting of
Stockholders held earlier today at the Company's headquarters in Beverly
Hills, California.
At the meeting, the stockholders approved the election to the Board of
Directors of Benjamin Derhy and Thomas Stockham, both of whom are currently
directors of Spark Networks.
In addition, Spark Networks stockholders ratified the appointment of Ernst
& Young LLP as the Company's independent registered public accounting firm
for the year ending December 31, 2007 and approved the Spark Networks, Inc.
2007 Omnibus Incentive Plan.
