G4S plc acquires First Security SPRL, Belgium
G4S plc, the international security solutions group, announces that it has
acquired First Security SPRL ("First Security") from its founder and owner Mr.
Thierry Dupuis.
First Security has gross assets of €0.2 million and provides a complementary
geographic fit with the group's existing event security activities in Belgium,
which are undertaken by the Diamond Security Company. The integration of First
Security and Diamond Security Company will reinforce G4S's market leadership in
event security, providing services to a number of prestigious venues,
exhibitions and sporting events throughout Belgium through access to almost
4,000 security professionals employed in G4S Belgium's security services
business.
